Whistles are located in your inventory and are used to call various Pets for hunting and feeding.

As Pets age, they will need longer and longer resting times between hunts. If you want to refresh your pet and reset its resting timers you can "Call Pet to Feed." This costs 65 Food and your pet will show up next to you, ready to go. After feeding, the pet will only need short resting periods in between hunts... until it ages again.

Pets go home to rest, Whistles will show the time when your pet will become available again.

Whistles can also be used to train skills. You can just tap the Whistle and choose to train skills for 200 Food each.
