Kingdom Buffs

There are many different Buffs a Kingdom can provide for its members. From Trade Cartel to Sentinel and from one of the Mounted Kingdom Heads to Rally Post, Kingdom Members will be able to choose from a variety of Buffs to work for as a team. Below, you can find images for each of the Kingdom Buffs as well as links to more detailed explanations of each Kingdom Buff.

Sky-Based Kingdom Buffs

Being in a Kingdom has many perks, and you can enjoy several of them while in the Sky! If your Kingdom has any of the below Perks, you can benefit from some of the Buffs described below.

Pet Buffs

Your pets have special Buffs that they can use, too. Spiders have a Buff called Envenom, which allows your pet Spider to have a chance at poisoning whatever it fights. There are other Pet Buffs, too, so check out all of the Buffs below as well as a link to each Pet!

Skill-Based Buffs

Skill-Based Buffs are Buffs that you will see in the lower left corner of your screen. The buff icon will also appear in a smaller form, beneath your character. Here's a summary of each of the Buff icons as well as what they look like, complete with links to each Skill's page to learn more!

Metal-Based Buffs

This unique section only has ONE Metal that is capable of giving yourself a Buff, which is Aether Metal-Infused Weapons or Armor. Check out the details about Aether Metal, below, as well as the Buff's Icons and a link to what Aether Metal is all about!

Potion-Based Buffs

Potion-Based Buffs give your character a temporary boost in different aspects of the game. Rolly's Serum increases your Max HP for an hour or until you die, Inspiration Tonic increases the number of pages you earn for an hour or until you die, and Anti-Poison resists the Poison Debuff for an hour or until you die. There are many icons that go along with all of the Potion-Based Buffs, which you can find below, as well as links to what each potion does!

buff_rage.pngRage Buff from Keldor's Rage (Potion)Grants you +4 Attack and reduces your Defense by 1. Allows you to travel while under its effect, but you must stay aggressive or the Potion wears off.


Specialization Token Potion-Based Buffs

First arriving to Parallel Kingdom in April 2013, Specialization Token Potion-Based Debuffs allow players to use some of their Specialization Tokens and other ingredients to create one of many new potions that give buffs based on the Specializtion Token they're created with. Token Tonic doubles the amount of tokens you earn for the duration of the Tonic, and Patriot's Potion actually increases the amount of Kingdom Pages you're allowed to earn your Kingdom each day! There are many different icons and buffs to learn, and every one of them are shown below. The large icon is what you'll see on the lower left section of your screen, and the small icon is what will show beneath your character. Read below to find out the benefits of each Specialization Token Potion!

This Buff applies a 3% Attack Bonus per Siege Command Level when the Kingdom Airship is within range of the Siege Golem.

Sky-Based Element Buffs

Sky-Based Element Buffs are obtained when your Airship is carrying one of a specific Element and you Harvest another. If you're on your Griffin Mount and you're carrying an Element. Harvesting any additional Element will replace your current Element with the new one, and use the existing Element as your Element Buff.

  • Example: Your Airship is carrying one Fire Element. You Harvest another Fire Element. When you harvest this second Fire Element, you'll receive the Fire Buff, as described below.
  • Example: Your Griffin is carrying one Fire Element. You Harvest a Wind Element. Your Fire Element that you're currently carrying will become a Fire Buff, as described below, and the WInd Element will go into the Element Slot.

Sky-Based Cloud Buffs

Sky-Based Cloud Buffs are semi-automatic buffs that are granted to you temporarily whenever you walk through one of the three different Clouds that you'll see floating around in the Sky Realm. These buffs are granted to you temporarily, and each buff contains two attributes. All of these Buffs are described in the following table.

Monster-Created Buffs

Monsters can create their own Buffs, too! For example, in a Dragon Lair when you're fighting the Dragon Broodmother, she applies a Roar Buff to her Lair Dragon friends that will come to help defend her while you're attacking her. This gives them additional attack strength. There are other Monster-Created Buffs too, thich mostly affect the monsters who created the buff, but read about them anyways for some information on how these creatures can be so hard to kill.

Ring-Based Buffs

Beginning with the Call for Heroes Event, you are able to use certain Rings to earn special Buffs. The very first Ring Buff that's been created for you to enjoy is the Treasure Hunter Buff, which is described below. Over time, you'll see additional Ring Buffs, so be sure to pay attention to each and every update for more details!

Plant-Based Buffs

Plant-Based Buffs provide a semi-automatic, temporary buff that can improve your experience for a short period of time. Speed up on water or gain an attack bonus to give you that extra advantage!

Plant-Based Debuffs

With the special Plant-Based Buffs also come Plant-Based Debuffs. Walk within range of one of the plants below and suffer the consequences!

Monster-Created Debuffs

Monsters also have very unique debuffs which can only be discovered by fighting certain creatures. These are special debuffs and they normally reduce one of your attributes or cause you damage. A description of each Monster-Created Debuff can be found below, as well as a link to what Monster causes the Debuff.

Airship Debuffs

While a lot of these Debuffs can also be applied to creatures and other players on land, they can be applied in the Sky Realm as well. They're included in the list of Airship Debuffs listed below.

buff_fire.pngFire Debuff from Fire ElementalsWhen you are battling Fire Elementals in the Sky, your ship will catch on fire and take damage every few seconds until the Fire debuff wears off.


Metal-Based Debuffs

Metal-Based Debuffs normall come from players who are using a Weapon or Armor with an infused Metal. Some creatures are also able to apply Metal-Based Debuffs. For example, a Gyront can apply a Honed Defense debuff on you. All Metal-Based Debuff icons are shown to you below as well as a brief summary about the debuff as well as links to the Metals that can perform the debuffs.

buff_shade_big.png buff_shade.pngShade Debuff from Shade MetalStops target from Healing for 15 seconds. Chance to Shade a target increases as their HP decreases.
buff_poisoned_big.png buff_poisoned.pngPoison Debuff from Poison MetalDoes Damage over Time to targets: every 3.5 seconds for 60 seconds. Does not spread to additional targets like Fire Metal's debuff does.
buff_ice_big.png buff_ice.pngIce Debuff from Ice MetalReduces the Target's movement speed by 50% when applied. Also reduces Target's Dodge ability by 15% if it exists. Lasts for 30 seconds.
buff_lightning_big.png buff_lightning.pngLightning Debuff from Lightning MetalDoes Damage every 5 seconds based on the number of Targets (2 or more) with this debuff applied within a 250m radius and lasts for 30 seconds. Can be VERY powerful. Does not spread to additional targets like Fire Metal's debuff does.

Pet Debuffs

Just like your Pets can have special Buff abilities, they also have the ability to Debuff other creatures and players as well. These Debuffs can assist you greatly while hunting or fighting in wars, so make sure you review each one of the Debuffs and find out what feels right for you.

Skill-Based Debuffs are Debuffs that are applied to creatures and/or other players. These icons will appear beneath the player or creature that you've debuffed. While the icons on-screen will be smaller, here is a summary of each of the debuffs that you can apply to a creature!

For the Debuff Icon column, you will see a large and a small icon. The large one will appear in the lower left corner of your screen, and the small one will appear beneath your character, when the debuff is affecting you. The small icon will appear beneath any entity on which you've applied the debuff.

buff_hunters_eye_big.png buff_hunters_eye.pngHunter's Eye Debuff from Hunter's Eye (Skill)Up to a 9% chance of doing up to 2x damage to a Monster until it is dead. Doesn't apply to Bosses or Player-Owned Creatures.
buff_oiyoi_master_presence_big.png buff_oiyoi_master_presence.pngOiyoi Master Debuff from Oiyoi Master (Skill)This debuff appears on all Monsters when you have Oiyoi Master Level 2 or higher, and represents the reduction of speed that's applied to nearby enemies.
buff_provoke_big.png buff_provoke.pngProvoke Debuff from Provoke (Skill)Up to a 100% chance to provoke monsters within 200m to come fight you instead of run away. Also gives up to a -2 defense debuff for up to 10 seconds.
buff_bane_big.png buff_bane.pngBane Debuff from Monster Bane (Skill)Up to a +3 Attack to monsters of a certain type for 20 seconds after defeating a monster of a similar type. You receive -1 defense from monsters of a different type during the Bane's Effect.
buff_taunt_big.png buff_taunt.pngTaunt Debuff from Taunt (Skill)Calls monsters to you to attack inside your circle. You receive up to a +3 Defense during the 40 seconds Taunt duration.
buff_deathsoar_judgement_big.png buff_deathsoar_judgement.pngDeathsoar Judgement Debuff from Deathsoar Judgement (Skill)Causes victim to take up to 10HP damage for every 100 meters they move and lasts for 5 seconds with as little as 1 minute cooldown.
buff_deathsoar_judgement_placed_big.png buff_deathsoar_judgement_placed.pngDeathsoar Judgement Placed from Deathsoar Judgement (Skill)Appears when a player Places Judgement on a target.
buff_plague_big.png buff_plague.pngPlague Debuff from Plague Strike (Skill)Causes the victim an average of up to 2HP damage per second for 20 seconds and spreads to nearby entities. Cooldown as little as 5 minutes.
