Dragon Shield
Dragon Shields are special defensive items that can be worn by those trained in the Dragon Master skill. This item has slightly weaker average defense against ranged attacks than a normal Shield but slightly stronger average defense against melee attacks. Dragon shield is half the weight, so the wearer will be able to move faster than someone equipped with a regular Shield.
Dragon Shields will give the bonuses for the specialization skills that require a shield to be equipped.
It should be noted that shield and body armour do not combine to give increased defence. Rather, the item which would take the lowest damage is used to defend against an attack.
To use a Dragon Shield, you need:
- Dragon Master level 1
Crafting Requirements
- 3 Dragon Eggs
- 20 Iron
- 20 Wood
- Weapon Smithing level 1
Encumbrance: 10
